Mishawn Purnell-O’Neal has a Masters Degree in Public Health. She is an author, publisher, lecturer and health educator who combines her two passions – her family and the delivery of quality health education.

She is the author of two books:

• Breastfeeding Facts Over Fiction: Health Implications on the African American Community
• Mother’s Milk of Love: Baby Keepsake Journal 

With the release of the unique and beautifully designed Mother’s Milk of Love: Baby Keepsake Journal in 2004, Mishawn has become known as one of the leaders in the delivery of cutting edge products that positively support the breastfeeding experience.

With a limited number of books, in particular children’s books, that speak to the breastfeeding experience in a positive way, Mishawn has begun to fill this literary gap by authoring and publishing her first children’s book The Wonders of Mother’s Milk.
